Cerenia has few side effects and is well tolerated in large amounts in dogs who are at least 8 weeks of age 16 weeks if you use the motion sickness dosage. The usual dosage of cerenia as it applies to motion sickness is 3 6 mg for every pound your dog weighs to be given once a day whereas for the treatment of acute vomiting 0 9 mg per pound body weight once a day is more common.
