Changing Toilet Floor Seal

Whenever you remove a toilet for any reason replace the wax ring seal between the toilet and the toilet anchor flange sometimes called a closet flange attached to the floor.

Replace the nuts. Be careful not to over tighten the nuts as it may crack the porcelain bowl. Open the new seal. Replace the washers and nuts on each toilet bowl bolt and evenly tighten the nuts onto the bolts.
